Automotive Systems Fundamentals
Begin your journey to a profitable career in auto repair with Questar III. Each module in this series is a four-week course taught by an experienced Questar III instructor. Students who complete all four modules will enter the field with a solid foundation in all major automotive systems.
Module I: Automotive Shop Safety, Tools, and Equipment – This module will give students instruction in the safe operation of professional equipment such as the lift, tire machine and wheel balancer. Students will have the opportunity to gain the S/P2 certification.

Module II: Engine Fundamentals – In this module, students will learn the basics of engine operation with a focus on diagnostic scanners and related sensors.

Module III: Fundamentals of Electricity – This module covers all electrical systems such the starting and charging systems.
2024 Class Dates: November 19, 21, December 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19

Module IV: Steering, Suspension, Brakes and Alignments – In this module, students will be taught essential skills necessary in auto repair.
2025 Class Dates: January 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30
