On Monday, May 6, 2024, Questar III BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) students participated in the SkillsUSA National Signing Day. This nationwide celebration showcased the next generation of skilled professionals and the skilled career paths that are essential to America’s future. Students signed a letter of intent committing to pursue a skilled career path with thousands of others across the country. Students were joined by their teachers, school administration, families, and employers to recognize this accomplishment.

Congratulations to the Questar III BOCES CTE students who have already secured post-graduation employment or have committed to continuing their education in their desired field.

As indicated with an asterisk (*), five students are continuing their employment with the business they were matched with this time last year for our Youth Apprenticeship Program. These students spent 200+ hours working with these businesses last summer, gaining paid, on-the-job training in their respective fields. Several other students were hired following positive experiences job shadowing throughout the year.

Congratulations to our students!
