Education Law §3638 was amended last year, and it required all schools (regardless of if you use contract transportation) to start reporting on their progress towards electric buses each August 1st.  The survey is now available in the SED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System in the Business Portal.  It is under a new category “Transportation” which SBOs may not have access to as it wasn’t an option when they were given access originally.   Once your superintendent provides access, you should see this survey option. The district will need to complete the required questions and submit the survey by August 1st.
