The Questar III BOCES Youth Apprenticeship Program links students with local, high-wage, high-demand, high-skill careers. Thanks to our many business partnerships, thirty students from across our three Career and Technical Education schools have been matched with local businesses to work this summer. Matched students in Automotive Technologies, Construction Technologies, Heavy Equipment Repair and Operations, HVAC, and Welding will complete a minimum of 200 hours of paid, on-the-job training before returning for their senior year this fall. Students were recognized at a Matching Day event where they signed a letter of intent for the program with their families and representatives of the businesses they will be working at present.
