New Visions: Business, Finance, & Marketing held it’s Parent Information Night in January. If you missed the event or would like to watch again, please view the video below:

The Questar III New Visions programs provide high school seniors with valuable insight into career options from a real-world perspective. A 1-year, honors-level program, New Visions turns area businesses, healthcare facilities, and government buildings into classrooms for highly motivated, academically successful students.

During this half-day program, New Visions students learn and explore through mentoring, internships, interaction with professionals, group discussion, and creative projects. Each program provides specific 12th-grade course requirements and the opportunity to earn college credits.

Our Business, Finance, and Marketing program is based at Columbia-Greene Community College in Hudson. This program focuses on providing students with a comprehensive overview of the fields of business, finance, and marketing, giving exposure to various career options available with businesses both in the private and public sectors. Students will use critical thinking, oral, and written communication, creativity, innovation, collaborations, problem-solving, cultural literacy, and interpersonal skills throughout the year. Students become engaged with business leaders through guest presentations and site visits, allowing more opportunities to explore emerging fields within the business world. Learn more about the program here.

The application deadline to attend a New Visions program next year is Saturday, February 10th. Applications can be found here.
