The opening reception for the 27th Annual Questar III High School Invitational Art Exhibit will be held Wednesday, March 30 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Marvin Library Learning Commons at Hudson Valley Community College. Awards will be presented at 6:00.
This year, the exhibit features art from students in 13 school districts.

The Questar III High School Invitational Art Exhibit began in 1989 as a way to encourage the development and exchange of arts programming for schools in the region.
The program was also designed to encourage student participation in our schools’ arts programming, to provide students with authentic feedback on their artistic endeavors and to promote strong, public support for the arts in our schools.
This year’s guest juror is Scott Hathaway, Interim Department Chair for Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Broadcast Communications programs at Hudson Valley Community College.
Previously, the exhibit was held at the Questar III offices in Castleton, the Arts Center in Troy and the WMHT studios in North Greenbush.
The students’ art will be on display until April 28th.
