Questar III BOCES was part of the region’s largest back to school expo on September 8.
Questar III joined Capital Region BOCES, Tech Valley High School, Center for Economic Growth, Hudson Valley Community College, NYSERDA and others to provide hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities to students and parents.
Visitors to Questar III’s booth learned about polymers about making their own slime. They also learned about nanoscience by using marshmallows and oven mitts.
The event also included giveaways and celebrity appearances by Zendaya from Disney’s “Shake It Up,” Curious George, the Cat in the Hat and the gang from “Super Why.”
